✨ Create Your Own Embroidered Christmas Tree Decoration ✨

Get into the festive spirit and join us for a relaxed, creative workshop where you’ll make a beautiful hand-stitched Christmas tree decoration. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident stitcher, this is a wonderful way to slow down, learn new skills, and create something truly personal to hang on your tree or give as a heartfelt gift.

During the session, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of stitching a festive design onto a soft fabric base. We’ll explore a variety of embroidery techniques – including back stitch, lazy daisy, French knots, and fly stitch – to add charming detail and texture to your decoration.

You’ll have the chance to choose colours and embellishments that suit your style, making each decoration unique.
All materials will be provided, including fabric, thread, a hoop, and stuffing to complete your decoration.

You’ll leave the workshop with a finished piece (or well on your way to one), along with the skills and confidence to continue embroidery at home.
This workshop is perfect if you’d like to:
🎄 Learn simple embroidery stitches in a fun, supportive environment
🎄 Create a handmade decoration full of festive charm
🎄 Enjoy a mindful, creative break from the busyness of the season
🎄 Share the experience with friends, family, or like-minded crafters

No prior experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm!
Come along, enjoy some festive creativity, and take home a handmade decoration that will add a touch of magic to your Christmas for years to come.

About Jo,

Since being a child, I was encouraged to craft and, in particular, to stitch. I enjoyed making toys and ran my own craft stall as a student to boost my income. Then my teaching career took over and I had little time to stitch. However, I came back to embroidery in order to give me something other than work to focus on. My concentration improved as did my well being because I was achieving something for me with a sense of calm.
Now that I have retired from my day job, I run Cherishedchums but I particularly enjoy teaching my embroidery skills to adults. My workshops are always based to that beginners and the more experienced can work on the project. But the main idea is to have fun whilst stitching something beautiful!
