On their own, Georgian Oil Colours from Daler Rowney are just like any other oil paint. However, correctly blending them with Georgian Oil Block Printing Medium will make them suitable for block printing.
For solid colour mix 1.5 parts of Georgian Oil Block Printing Medium with 1 part of Georgian Oil Colour and then print in the normal way. Allow prints to dry overnight before over printing. Longer may be required in cool conditions.
For transparent overprints, blend only the required amount of colour into the medium before printing.
